The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the student recipients of the Winter 2019-20 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards. Since 2006 this NSAA Award Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.  Each year the NSAA and the NCPA recognize students during Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons who are nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions in their NSAA activity.

Congratulations to Jared Nickman, Zach Bell, and Ben Goodwin on making the Journal Star 2012 All City Wrestling Team!  Jared was also named Honorary Captain.

Congratulations to Ben Goodwin! Ben has been selected to wrestle in the East/West all-star Dual.

The wrestlers are selected by the Nebraska Scholastics Wrestling Coaches Association.

Congratulations to 2011-2012 Pius X Wrestling Team

on getting 11th place in class A at the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships  in Omaha and medaling 3 Pius X wrestlers with many victories by all wrestlers.  Jarred Nickman and Ben Goodwin both made the finals and were in the Parade of Champions.  Jarred became the 6th wrestler in Pius X history to win  a State Championship and Ben just missed by one point in the finals, getting second.  Tyson Cisneros was the other placer for Pius X getting 5th place.

We qualified 7 wrestlers at Districts in Kearney for the State wrestling meet that is being held in Omaha at the Centurylink on Thursday afternoon.  We have 3 District Champions this year which is the most Pius X has had in many  years.

The Bolts placed 21st out of 33 teams in Class A at State with 2 wrestlers placing 4th.  Pius X was 4th out of all of the Lincoln teams.
